Good morning! It’s late in the afternoon here, but we know it’s morning back home! Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! We wish we could watch the Superbowl tonight but it comes on too late and we would have to travel too far to watch it. Dad sent us a really good story about the quarterback for the Cardinals so we are rooting for them to win since the Eagles aren’t in it anymore!
On Friday we spent a lot of time planning trips and looking for good bargains on trains and planes. On Saturday we booked a weekend trip in April to England which we are very excited about and got a very good deal on! We also took a bus to the Cap d’Antibe and walked around the beaches and the small town for a while. We didn't see any surfers but there was one guy courgeous enough to brave the cold water snorkling. It was sunny when we left in the morning but a few hours later is was about twenty degrees cooler and very cloudy. We walked around the outdoor markets then took another bus to Nice where we spent there rest of the day walking around and shopping! It's beautiful there and they are setting up and getting ready for the Nice carnival which takes place soon. We had pizza for dinner and then a few friends came over later and we made crepes and watched a movie.
Today we lots of homework and studying to catch up on. We hate to waste days on school work but it is cold and rainy and yucky out so we decided we might as well! All of our classes have two midterms and a final and the first set of midterms are coming up next week which we are nervous about. Hope everything is going well at home! We love you guys and miss you like crazy!!!! Enjoy the rest of your weekend and have a great day!

** The fist picture is the promanade we walked along in Nice. It translates to the Promanade of the English. The second, third and fourth pictures are all also from Nice. One is of a merry-go-round in the main square, one is of the street where all the stores and a mall is on and one is of the beach. The water is very blue! The fifth, sixth, seventh and eight pictures are all from Cap d'Antibes. You can see the clouds quickly moving in! The final picture is what our room looks like when we decide to do wash. We can hang a few shirts ourside but most of it has to dry on our beds with the doors open. We miss having a dryer at home, especially on cloudy days!
nice undies girls!

ReplyDeleteHave you found any great buys while shopping? I wonder what the snorkeler was seeing? I hope this doesn't spoil you for Wildwood , New Jersey! I would love to live by the sea for awhile.
